Join us for an introdcution to Research Data Management followed by an apéro.
Research Data Management (RDM) is rapidly becoming an integral part of many research projects. Since 2017, the EU has required that all research projects must have a Data Management Plan (DMP) attached to any application for funding. Since October 2017, the SNSF has imposed the same condition on most research projects.
A DMP briefly describes how data, produced in the course of a research project, will be managed and archived during the project’s life cycle.
The Library can advise and support our researchers on the following topics:
- Explanation of relevant guidelines with respect to RDM
- Development of Data Management Plans
- Defining metadata for datasets
- Reference to further tools and guidelines
